Homegrown, Carole's exhibition

2009.07.15
I really wanted to capture this one, it was supr just on its own.

This is Paul from Whitering, one of Greg's friends (and Carol's) who came especially to see the exhibition. I spoke to him once on the phone when I was with Greg and I was having a crisis at Mr G's health sabotaging and it was all very odd to speak to this person on G's phone that I had never met before, who sounded very flirty.

THis one is great, she just turned around when I was taking hte shot, I wanted to thank her but never did, since I didn't know her and I am scared of women.

Terry not allowing people to not be scared of him

Paul and Carol, at the bye bye end of the exhibition.

Upstairs from the exhibition, in this wonderful ballroom.

Terry having a meeting with his camera (or is he about to pray at it?)

Ceiling bit

Self shot

Terry having a wander

Carol taking a picture of me taking a picture of her whilst Terry is taking a picture of Carol taking a picture of me taking a picture of both of them. Terry, who said that was complicated?

I like the dynamic in this one very much

I like to see Carol laughing and sunglasses on the floor. Great. Shame I didn't take this picture with Pauls full head

another self portrait

This is the knitting workshop which was upstairs to Carol's exhibition and was in a different folder and it got posted ok but when I tried to post the other pictures which were more numerous, crash! I will try tomorrow, it's time for bed. PS: I was really taken by this doll's outfit, that is one proper doll's dress, nothing crap in there!

Such a beautiful chale that one of the ladies did; it is absolutely superb, made out of silk, it took her 4 weeks to make, but in between making other things!

De la laine

My bit of knitting!

Not sure what it could be useful for...

Terry's efforts!!! It is Terry who knitted those 3 lines!!! Wonderful!

What a man! I want to meet more men who can knit, I bet I won't find another! Terry is a rare pearl.

Terry and the lady next to him were swapping cats stories. They both like cats very much.

Close up to make sure it is Terry indeed and it is not a trick of Photoshop.

It was a blessed day, there is no other possible explanation to what happened that day, thaN THIS.

caroleagle This is so fantasticlly good and full of the loveliness of that day. I have got mine back now but I don't like them yet or not many. Tomorrow will be different.

kimkadabra Ive just realised that we often look better in self portraits because of the lack of self conciousness when by our self. As soon as there's another person taking the photo we get a load of ego stuff come between us and the camera.

terryl Kim, I've always realised I look better in pictures with a bag over my head...
