At Carol's house

2009.07.14
Rob that Mr G has not met yet?

Carol and Rob, friendly garden with lots of interesting plants, including white lavender, teeth-leaved lavender and lemongrass plant which name i can't remember and nettles and lots of other wonders, as well as a pond with a frog! A very nice tea taken outside, it was so sociable and friendly and comfortable, I nearly forgot I was meant to be antisocial and difficult and awkward in social circumstances.

Rob and Kim looking this way!

Terry who is slouching big time and trying to explain something about a camera, possibly? Everyone has their camera out! Except Rob who didn't have one.

Terry's half head and the wonderful, beautiful plum tree which I tried a plum from, very nice, but the tree was even better than the plum!

Carol having a relax

Carol chatting with Rob and Kim and guests

Carol is really very cute.

I like animations and different expressions of others. Carol, in this case. She was looking extremely fit today, beautiful and is growing her hair, which I totally agree with, the more (head) hair, the better! She was looking superb.

Rob who is doing frownies :) (for Robert 1!)

I do like that one. I hope he gets to see it and likes it too.

Kim taking a picture of someone?

Rob looks very peaceful, and rested, calm and confidence does show in pictures.

Terry having an arguement about camera manuals with Rob who has given up argueing! (hopefully, as I do like to think it would be such thing he was talking about, though it probably wasn't.. What was he trying to convince Rob about? I wonder?)

The thing about looking in someone's face with a shiny knife across, so the eyes of the person are swapped for our own eyes...Very weird!!!
IN this case, I didnt manage to get the angle right at all, I was to perturbed by what I had seen (same with looking at Terry, I got a fright to see my eyes on him) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHhhhh so scary!!! But anyway, Kim has camera eyes here, maybe Neil could explain the right angle for this sort of pic.

Kim doing it with Rob

Isn't it so weird hey!!!

Kim trying to capture it whilst Rob is doing it on Carol. I like this scene of the 3 of them together.

Carol looks like she's being interviewed for a magazine. Maybe a woman's monthly. Hopefully an esoteric one, one of value.

Definitely interviewed! Beautiful!

The table. I like the look of the sugar very very much! No white heroine-like sugar crap! Proper stuff! I wish I could exchange more views with Carol.

Amazone

This picture was taken with Terry's big camera but not with the lense I tried throwing at the fishes. I really like this picture.

I like this one a lot too!

I don't know which of those following 3 I prefer; this one is nice. Reserved?

Very very serious but I like the angle. Which just wrote itself as "angel" . Angle or angel?

Smiley is nice too! What is the secret with photography and the right expressions? Is it the photographer, or is it the belief of the person? I know that the beliefs of myself often show in photograph, which is why I have disliked so many of my photos

Boy hiding behind the sofa, following the very unwise instructions of Terry, as we left. I wanted a photo of James!

I sort of got one, but he does have the look of someone who has not slept all night :) but anyway, I must have moved and was in a rush to get out and the Deadly camera is a bit crap (my phone) it doens't work well, under pressure. I will have to go back to get a proper one, some other time. Boy was very sleepy when we first arrived but rose eventully; he was very friendly. I was surprised, because I always think myself of no interest whatsoever for, teenagers and children. I always excpet them to find me unattractive or repulsive or boring or uninteresting.. I was very touched and surprised by his hugs when we left.

Carol invited us in for a tea! I didn't expect to see her today due to the message left on Terry's guestbook but to see her and meet her friends and Boy and other people made the day absolutely amazing.

More photos can be seen on Carol's blog and Terry's though he has not posted them yet, I heard he didnt go to do his laoundry instead.
Terry's blog can be found here, he has managed to upload them, allelouia!

Kim also has a few pictures on his blog which can be found here

This didn't feel to me like meeting fellow photobloggers but felt more like meeting friends, being comfortable and feeling...Happy. Which can be quite rare.(here we go again...Sigh...)

stormfish cool! it's always fun to see photobloggers unite... but makes me feel a bit like a voyeur peeping into a stranger's garden... ;-)

anjan I agree with eidea. And I like seeing everyone doing experiments with cutlery. Vaguely knowing some of the people through their photographs on photoblog makes me feel, in a strange way, like I was there.

ClaudePechabaden We like voyeurs!!! Keep at it! (well, I do, otherwise I wouldn't have a blogthing)
Arian, maybe you were there and you didn't know it? I wonder if those things are possible!

caroleagle You have got some really wonderful portraits in here. Robert looks so like Robert I've known him for 30 years so I know what I mean. And Kim too. I have never been able to get Kim to look anything like himself. And ME! you got past my camera shyness which is rare. I love #25. you made me look pretty.
When I went to Wales with Robert to see Dragana's show it had that kind of blessed feeling. I think he exudes a lovely relaxed sociability wherever he goes. I think he had us all in his lovely magic bubble.

robinray That looks like a very nice day out and I can't wait to try that knife thing, thanks, young Pechabaden. (Can't resist that surname. Almost the nicest thing about you.)

(Apart from the friendly smile, the merry eyes, the dainty tits, the imagination and the sheer desirability and unexpectedness of you.)

As for the tapeworm, I came face to face with it. It's called confronting your demons, though actually I didn't know I had it till then. Got it in Hong Kong I think.

One day when we meet up again I'll tell you all about it.

I think your surname means 'sin in the bath'. Sort of franco-german.

Glad you liked the old dismantling-Ealing-Studios photo.
